Applying for Graduation (Degrees & Certificates)
- The Graduation Application is submitted through your mySDCCD student portal.
- Students who expect to receive an Associate Degree and/or a Certificate of Achievement are encouraged to apply for graduation after they have registered for the semester in which they plan to complete the requirements for their degree or certificate.
- Participation in the commencement ceremony and applying for graduation are separate processes. The annual Commencement Ceremony is the celebration held in May for students who have graduated or will graduate, within the academic year. (The academic year includes prior Summer and Fall graduates, and current Spring and Summer anticipated graduates.)
- District Evaluations
- The District Evaluators determine which courses are applicable toward your chosen degree or certificate and also process graduation applications.
